If you're having trouble with logging into Plexus, there are a few solutions that you can try including:

Before following the troubleshooting steps below, please first ensure that you are logging into to Plexus via the normal login page
https://app.legalgateway.com.au/

Background

What is a cache?

Browser caching is a process that temporarily stores specific pieces of information from website pages, such as images, in order to facilitate faster loading speeds the next time you return to a website.

Clearing a cache can sometimes fixes certain problems like pages loading or formatting issues.

What is a cookie?

Cookies are files created by sites you visit. They make your online experience easier by saving browsing data.

Deleting cookies for particular websites can fix certain problems with logging in. Note that when you clear your cookies, you will also be logged out of the site/s that you're logged into. You'll be prompted to log back in the next time you visit that page. As a result, you may like to clear cookies for specific websites, rather than all websites when troubleshooting.

What is browser history?

As you browse the internet, your browser will keep track of the different websites that you visit in a given time period, particularly when you're not using a private browsing window.

Each of these three elements can help users to eliminate problems with logging into a website, and can be used across multiple websites, not just Plexus.

The rest of this guide will detail how to clear your cache, history and more, using the different web browsers, where these instructions may differ.

Troubleshooting login issues with Safari on Mac or PC

Manage cookies and website data

Choose Safari > Preferences, click Privacy, then do any of the following:

  • Remove stored cookies and data: Click Manage website data, select one or more websites, then click Remove or Remove all. Removing the data may reduce tracking, but may also log you out of websites or change website behaviour.

  • See which websites store cookies or data: Click Manage website data.

  • Ask websites not to track you: Some websites keep track of your browsing activities when they serve you content, which enables them to tailor what they present to you.

You can have Safari ask sites and their third party content providers (including advertisers) not to track you. With this option turned on, each time Safari fetches content from a website, Safari adds a request not to track you, but it’s up to the website to honour this request.

Clear your browsing history

Choose History > Clear history, click the pop-up menu, then choose how far back you want your browsing history cleared.

For further help, visit Apple.
