Using multi-document awareness and file upload in Plexus Counsel

Multi-Document Awareness allows you to select or upload multiple agreements to analyse together in Plexus Counsel. By narrowing Plexus Counsel’s attention to the documents you choose, you can uncover connections, inconsistencies and shared risk across related contracts — without reviewing them side-by-side.

This provides clearer visibility across related agreements and supports more informed, portfolio-level decisions for both legal and business teams. Multi-Document Awareness is particularly useful when:

1. Open Plexus Counsel
Navigate to Plexus Counsel from anywhere in the platform.

2. Add Files to Plexus Counsel
Select + Add, then choose the relevant tab to select Documents or Upload files. The files you choose here will guide Plexus Counsel’s analysis, enabling cross-contract insight within a single conversation.

3. Select or upload documents

Continue with your selections. You can select or upload up to 10 documents to analyse together.

4. Ask your question
Ask about obligations, risks, comparisons or connections across the selected agreements. Plexus Counsel will analyse those agreements together with your question, to surface connections and shared risk.

Files added to Plexus Counsel stay active for the life of the thread and apply to each message you send. To remove a file, click the X before sending. To reset your selection entirely, start a New thread.
