Shared documents don't need to stay shared forever. In the event that you're after quick access to shared files, we make it easy to undo that decision once you're ready.

Removing access to a shared document

To access a list of users you've previously shared a document with, head to the Document list to open the document you have shared. If you're unsure which documents have been shared previously, show and filter by the Shared by column on the Document list to view a list of all eligible documents.

In the top right hand corner of the screen, click Share.

Click Manage sharers in the bottom left hand corner of the pop up to view the list of users you've previously shared the document with.

In the list, you'll find a split between any internal and external users with access to your file. We split the names out in this section because internal users will have a different level of access to an external user.

  • Internal users includes anyone from your organisation, even if they don't have an account with Plexus. It is determined based on their email address.

  • External users refer to any user that doesn't fall within this category. They may be external to your organisation.

To remove any users you've previously shared the file with, click Remove next to that person's name. Click Close once you're happy with your changes.
