Get your contracts signed with ease, using our powerful integration with the DocuSign eSignature platform. Our integration loops into your Plexus account, eliminating the need to log into an external DocuSign account and making signing contracts a breeze.

If you'd like to digitally sign a document, you can check out this guide. Alternatively, if you'd like to wet sign a document, but keep that information stored in Plexus, you can keep reading to find out about:

Accessing a document to sign

When a document is sent via Plexus for you to sign, you'll receive an email to let you know. Once you receive a sign request email, you will be able to access and sign your Plexus document from one of three places:

  • The email notification

  • The Plexus Dashboard

  • The Document Details page

You can click the Review and sign link in the email to get started or alternatively you can find and click the the Sign notification on your Plexus dashboard.

If locating the signing page from the document details page, navigate to the correct document from your documents list, and click Sign on the workflow timeline at the top of the page.

Note that external counterparties can only access Plexus from their email notification.

Once you've accessed the document in DocuSign, you'll be prompted to Agree to use electronic records and signatures.

Click the checkbox to ensure that you acknowledge this, and click the yellow button to Continue.

If you would prefer to wet sign the document, we have an alternative method to signing that keeps the document workflow in progress. If you would like to print and sign your document, we strongly recommend that you to follow these instructions in order to keep the workflow progressing.

To get started, click the Other actions menu and click Print and sign from the available list of options.

The platform will ask you whether you'd like to Upload or Fax your document, and will set you up with a list of prompts and instructions accordingly. If you'd like to Upload your document back into the system:

  • Click Download and print your file off your computer

  • Sign the file and Scan it back onto your computer

  • Click Return document to complete the process

You'll be able to download a copy of the digital certificate of completion once a file is fully executed too.
