You can upload supporting documentation that you can view and edit within a matter.

You can also link matters to an Approve and eSign workflow if your company makes use of the Contract management module.

This guide highlights how to create simple Approve and eSign workflows from a matter, with the click of a button.

Creating Approve and eSign workflows from a matter

Once you've located your matter from your Matters list, you may like to view the supporting material attached to it. Any supporting material uploaded to a matter is found to the right hand side of the matter details screen.

You can click the document's name to preview supporting material in the Document view tab.

If you would like to send supporting material documents for legal review, approval or signnature, click Create workflow to send the file to the Approve and eSign app.

The permission to see this button may be limited by your organisation's roles.

You can also select multiple documents to send to the Approve and eSign app using the checkboxes to the left of each document.

Complete the questions on the Approve and eSign app and submit your document to generate your desired approval workflow.

Plexus will automatically add a document link on the Matter details page for the main and sub-documents in your document workflow, so that you can easily refer to that information later.

Top Tip! Plexus will only allow you to create a workflow for PDF and Word documents.

If the option to Create workflow is disabled, please check and convert your supporting material to an approved document type (e.g. docx or .pdf) and re-upload.
