Permit Amendment Applications:

NSW: N/A^
ACT: 7-14 working days
SA: 7-14 working days

^NSW does not provide formal approval of any amendment. If they have any issues with change requests they will simply be in contact. Once a change request is lodged nothing further is required.

An amendment application is only required in NSW for 'substantial' changes, this may include the following:

  • a change to the prizes or the value of the prizes,

  • a change in the date on which prize winners are to be determined or the method for determining prize winners,

  • a change in the details of the authority holder

**All timings above apply from the date of submission of the application. These are approximate timings only. The departments may delay approval for promotions:

  • with a high total prize pool

  • involving complex/unique mechanics/legal issues (e.g. betting promotions)
