Logging in to Plexus

Quick steps to activate your account or log in using single sign-on (SSO)

Written by Sammie

There are two key ways to login to Plexus, depending on your organisation’s set up.

If you're a new user, in most cases you will receive an email invitation from a colleague when you've been invited to use Plexus in your role. Or you may have signed up yourself.

Click Get started from the email notification to activate your account. If you encounter a 'User account setup error' during activation, it may indicate an issue with your account status or email domain registration. Refer to the troubleshooting section below for steps to resolve this.

Logging into Plexus with single sign-on

To log into Plexus, you may use single sign-on (SSO) which leverages your company’s existing settings to securely log you into cloud-based platforms.

If your organisation has single sign-on enabled, you can go to Plexus and enter your work email address.

If your company has single sign-on enabled, we'll let you know. Click Log in to be redirected to sign in through your organisation’s selected provider.

If your organisation does not use single sign-on (SSO)

If your organisation does not use Single Sign On, you will be prompted to create your own password to access the platform. Your password must contain:

  • At least ten (10) characters and

  • At least three (3) of the following

    • Lowercase characters

    • Uppercase characters

    • Numbers

    • Special characters

Troubleshooting 'User Account Setup Error'

If you encounter a 'User account setup error' while trying to access Plexus, it typically indicates an issue with your account activation or email domain registration. Below are the common causes and steps to resolve this issue:

Common Causes of the Error

  1. Account Not Activated: Your account status may still be 'Invited,' meaning you have received an invitation but have not completed the activation process. Without activation, login attempts will fail.

  2. Unregistered Email Domain: If your email domain is not registered under your organization in Plexus, self-sign-up will not be possible, and you may see an error such as '403.1.'

Steps to Resolve the Error

  1. Complete Account Activation

    • Check your email inbox for the Plexus invitation email.

    • Follow the instructions in the email to activate your account.

    • If you cannot find the invitation email, contact a colleague with an active Plexus account to resend the invitation.

  2. Verify Email Domain Registration

    • Self-Sign-Up: If your email domain is registered under your organization, you can complete the sign-up form. Ensure you meet the password requirements to successfully create your account.

    • Invitation Required: If your email domain is not registered, self-sign-up will fail. In this case, request an invitation from a colleague who already has an active Plexus account.

Additional Tips

  • If you are unsure whether your email domain is registered, consult your organization’s IT or Plexus administrator.

  • Always check your spam or junk folder for the invitation email before requesting a resend.
