The document ID is a unique numerical field that's associated with each document that you upload to Plexus. From time-to-time, our support team may ask for your assistance in providing a Document ID, where your support query relates to a specific document. You can find your Document ID:

Finding your Document ID from the Document Details page

In order to find your Document ID, first head to your Document list and click into the troublesome file. On the resulting screen, you'll find the Document Details page.

From this page, copy and paste the full web address to our support team. This URL will contain the Document ID.

Alternatively, you may opt to copy and paste the string of numbers featured at the end of the URL directly through to our team. This string of numbers will be the Document ID.

Top tip! The document ID is usually 6-digits long.

Finding your Document ID from the Document List

Alternatively, you may like to find the Document ID from the document list directly. From the document list, click the table icon in the top right hand corner of the screen.

Select Document ID from the checkboxes in order to show all Document IDs on-screen.

Top tip! The Document ID is often found on the left-most column once it's activated.

Locate the troublesome document and take note of the Document ID, sending it directly through to our support team to fast-track triaging your query.
